“There’s a big winterberry grove about a quarter-mile down the mountainside in that direction.” Kiko waved his paw towards the west. “It’s bright red. Can’t miss it! The berries are delicious.”

Dawn scurried out of the tree hollow she lived in. She ran onto one of the long, scratchy branches. She looked down at the empty tree hollow. She looked back up to the other trees. "Hmm." She said to herself, wondering what to do.

"Yes, but they seem to be near the bottom," Wren told him. She stretched her arm out and through the hole she had made in the ice that had formed on the water. She looked for any signs of movement.
