I have an update after my candling last night... I had ANOTHER egg bomb!!!

I'm thinking now they must have the kids collecting eggs and they must not know not to pick up from the floor or under broodies.

14 of 24 left of the original lot set. All 14 are growing nicely, the others were clears, quiters and a blood ring.

13 of 24 Valentines Day eggs left. 4 to dark to see but dubious are still in there. I pulled clears and the egg bomb. Desperately hoping none of the dark eggs do anything 'interesting'. I'll have to keep an eye on them.

Overall not bad. It was early to pull the Valentines Day eggs for me but with what's been happening I didn't want to wait too long.
DH has relaxed. He was freaking out thinking all 48 might hatch!

Sorry I've not checked hpw you're all doin' this weekend; been to a weight pull with my bulldogs, and about done in. I still have to finish unloading the van and put the seats back in................................... tomorrow....................................... or maybe the day after.

Must be something going around, I have a cold or something that I keep thinking is gone after just a few hours. Last night it kept waking me up every hour with coughing and hurting in the chest and back, gone for the most part today, back tonight.

Congrats on those with pips or chicks; I've got no idea why its so exciting to watch them pip and zip, but it certainly is!

Ugh!!!! Temp spike in LG still air to somewhere between 103 and 105!!!!

It was doing so well!!!! I sure hope the little guys did not fry... day 6.

Now I am truly wondering... will they hatch???

I guess I have to join...I had a temp problem on day 1. Had the incubator lined out, put the eggs in around 11pm and woke up to 104. That never happens. I have a very well behaved incubator, dang it. I'll candle on Tuesday to see if anything survived.

I noticed today that some of my eggs were moving. I'm trying to leave them alone but it is hard. I want to leave the top off and watch all of the others close to see if they move. LOL

Your not wrong!!! That's 5 or 6 so far out of 48 set in two batches!

I've never had even one before so I've sure had my quota now.

HathawayHens and tallyho, don't give up! My first batch had a few spikes and 7 or 7 fertile hatched. I hope yours do as well.

I did an excercise video last night called "The Firm: Get Chisl'd" - I can barely walk this morning. I'm at work and had to squat to make an IV earlier in the hood and thought I was nearly going to pass out from the pain.
