the Will They Hatch? thread

Well you guys it is sad to say NO THEY WILL NOT HATCH.

All 11 TJ eggs... not even an eensie bit developed.

All that's left in my bator is the "control" egg from my own flock:

Oh look at that sad lonely egg in there. Hopefully it will be an extra cute chick.

Sorry your TJ eggs didn't grow. I wish we had a store like that here and I would experiment with them too.

SCG, I'm so sorry your experiment didn't work. I got 3 from one dozen and 1 from the second dozen and was amazed at that amount of success!

Since my bator was up a degee last night, I opened the lid to dump some heat and quickly candled three eggs. One was pourous and looked clear, another probably clear, and the third was a shipped egg and had a dark mass at the top where there should be air................ no idea what's up with that. I've never been good at seeing anything untill 18 days, so I just left them in and closed it back up.

Candled the Blue Copper Maran eggs and think I have development in 6, one looks only half filled with chick and one was just too dark to see anything. All have gone into the hatcher with the lone BLRW unhatched egg. We'll see if they are on track or end up hatching later then 21days. These eggs had the three bout of cooling but earlier then the BLRW's.

Just an update....and WOW! did this thread grow......day 18 today...only one of my little seramas from the crushed box was still going. If it hatches it will be all by itself
