I have 2 call duck eggs pipped. 1 pipped Wed. night....1 pipped Thrus. morning. Both are doing NOTHING!

Will they hatch?????

UG! me too, I had one pip thurs am, day 20, started to zip, now still nothing...chicken eggs.

dont blame yourself, I hear ppl say calls are notoriously difficult to hatch, sorry!

I have mixed feelings this morning. 3 tiel chicks died this morning. they hatched out over the weekend and the parents have been ignoring them. I found them cold inside the nesting box. 2 where still alive and warmed up in a brooder but died later. Now there is still 1 egg left. I can see the chick fully formed and a nice air cell. It's in a bator. Just dont know what to do it it hatches. Tiels dont exactly feed themselves from day one like chickens and I've never hand fed Tiels before. When I finally got a chance to look in the bator with my Auracana eggs, I saw a fully fluffed chick. I was so happy and sad at the same time. I had just about given up on these Auracana eggs. Started with 16 and am down to 4, well 3 now. Circle of life happening in my livingroom.
