Today I discovered two of my eggs with small cracks in them. (because I am impatient and decided to candle some eggs early. I did the rest after discovering one with a crack) (only been incubating for three days)
So I looked up online how to repair cracks. Crossed fingers for the two eggs.

Was it this wit that got you that platinum??? methinks so
Pretty sure the administration isn't following my posts; it was probably random picks from us more gabby members. I've been trying to figure out how to tell them thanks since I noticed the change under my avatar last night!
Just realized I didn't hit send this morning so I'll update my update...
I'm having leg issues. I'm thinking it's due to lousy parental nutrition.
My favorite spotty chick and black chick both went down yesterday and could not stand.
I went and bought liquid infant vitamins came home and dosed them and dosed the water. Also found one of the gingers down at that time and dosed it too. Sadly had to cull the black chick shortly after as is was unable to even get off it's side. My spotty one was worse last night and clearly distressed so I had to cull it too.
My ginger one is now able to stand and walk though isn't very stable. It seems to be improving and isn't doing the distress peep so I'm hoping it will be ok.
I also have one with a bent toe, going to put a shoe on it I think. It seems healthy and happy so I'm going to try and fix it. I need to mark it for sale later though. I need to get some rings when I'm next in town. I want to be able to keep track of who's who so when they grow up I know what color they were as chicks and if they had any health problems.
I'm so disappointed. Keeping my fingers crossed the 8 chicks I have left are ok.
I have another 10 eggs from the same place due tomorrow so we'll see what happens.
