I am very impatiently waiting for a batch of silkies to hatch. . . tomorrow will be day 21. I can hear em chirping!

UPDATE!!! My BBS Orpington eggs that lost power for 3 hours, hatched last friday. I got 13 out of the 17 eggs with no problems. They are all doing so well, and are the cutest things ever...

10, I'm surprised they made it this far. I had to candle them often to let the boys see the chicks moving inside. The past two nights we've just been listening to the little cheeps through the incubator.

I've ordered eggs and only 2 make it uncracked. I just ordered a handful last week and they all arrived unscathed. How cool is that.

So both yolks were fertile.
