OMG, it has become the mom/daughter joke! Everytime we walk in a store I find a rooster, and she goes NOOOOOOOO! In all truth, I only own one. Its just fun to make her squeal. She is 13, squealing is easy for her.

That rooster to so somethign my husband would buy.

That rooster is not inexpensive. I got one like it on eBay some months ago but mine arrived broken. FedEx took it back before they would pay the insurance claim.

I absolutely love the rooster stuatue AND the brass rooster is to die for. I swore when I got chickens that I would not decorate in chickens - but they just sort of creep in ya know...

It started with a tacky photograph of a mama hen and her two chicks under wing. It is shellacked to a piece of wood. I got it for 10 cents at a garage sale just to annoy my 17 year old. I hung it in the living room when he was at school. He noticed about a day later and abut cried.

That picture now hangs in the coop - the chickens aren't as tasteful as my son.

He is a GREAT artist and I am trying to get him to paint my big BC maran roo in water color. He won't do it because "Tank" is mean to him.

I have a large 35 year, collection of Chickens, from pictures to statues, salt and pepper shakers and a tea pot. some have come from antique stores around the country. Some were gifts. I used to have places to display them. I don't have the space now, nor do I want to have to dust them. They stay packed away. I have been trying to get up the courage to sell them. They are not doing me any good in a box. I don't think any of m kids are interested in Chickens. I would love to get the yard size made out of metal, heavy enough not to blow over in high wind.

Hey I like that roo, I think I have his brother on the entertainment center, along with a bunch of other ones, I also have the Cement chickens in the yard.
