The World of Loreign [RP]

alex had set the table and waited for the boys to come home. a few minutes later all eleven of her brothers walked in the door laughing and talking about their work . her father was last to come in. alex was the youngest and the only girl. she didn't mind. when her brothers saw her they all cheered and gave her hug. then sat down at the table for dinner. she passed out the food and listened to her brothers talk.towards the end of the meal her father asked her, "is there anything you want to tell me alexandra?" he asked . alex fingered with her fork and knife. "i went to the garden today." she answered knowing he already knew. her brothers oooooed. "and?" he said."i met the prince." she said her cheeks blushing a tiny bit. her brothers broke out into hysterics. "quiet!" her fathers voice boomed over them and made alex flinch. "i was told he wants to see you tomorrow. please do go, i do not want to disappoint a royal. this is why we stay out of the garden alexandra. " he said he got up and left the room. her brothers asked her questions but she just went up to her room and cried on her bed.

Aberdeen was silent for a moment. She had to play this carefully. If he knew that she lived in the dark forest he would tell everyone. She looked at his cup. "Would you like more tea?"

Aberdeen plopped a sleeping herb in his tea that instantly dissolved when it mixed with the liquid substance when he wasn't looking. "No, thanks for asking." She handed him the cup of tea.

Jamison sat at the long table across from his parents as the maid set the table. He was served delicious pastries and remembered his promise to Alex. He cleared his throat. "Father, I'd like to thank the kitchen staff making these most delightful and delicious pastries tonight." "Agreed!!!" The king looked to Jamison. "I would like to give all the kitchen staff members the week off, and to leave with 10 pieces of gold, each." He said aloud for everyone to hear. The king looked at him wide-eyed, and in surprise at his accolade, but then smiled and nodded. 'Perfect, I haven't cooked in a long time, and I would hate to lose the skill!" The queen chuckled.

After Ivory gave the fruits and veggies to the kitchen staff, she climbed back up the west tower and back into her bedroom. She brushed the tangles out of her hair and tied it up into a loose bun with a ribbon. She slipped on the dress set out across her bed: pink pearl with a blue trim lace and matching shoes. She groaned. Her mother always seemed to pick out the worst dresses. She hated pink. After she was dressed, she ran out of her room and down the large staircase to the dining room door. She stopped, smoothed out her dress and hair, and entered the room, sitting down at her assigned spot at the supper table, stiff backed and avoiding eye contact with her parents. "Good heavens, girl! What ever happened to your hair!" Her mothers strict, shrill voice cut through the air like a knife. Ivory kept a straight face, though inside se was scolding herself. She'd forgotten to wash the dirt out of her hair. "I was down in the.... Garden. And I fell." She said, not looking at the queen. Their food was served as her mom scolded her for being so careless to blah blah blah. She tuned them out and continued to eat.

Shane took the tea and smiled at her warmly. "Thanks for all your help, but i think i should be going soon." He said taking a sip of tea and setting it on a table.
