Kane bartered with the merchant until they settled on a price. He did a small spell to make his money appear in his hand, then paid for the stones, sending them home.

Jamison woke up, bright and early ready to begin a new day. There was a knock on the door. "Come in." A maid entered the room with a tray of delights. She set the food on the coffee table in his room.

alex looked at his hand again when she saw that he made coins appear. omg he was a wizard. this was scary yet radical. she just had to meet him. after he left the stall she started tailing him.
Kane glanced at the other booths as he walked along. He noticed Alex following him and stopped at a cloth merchant, pretending to look over the wares as he watched Alex.

alex pretended to look at the same thing as him watching him intently. she didn't know how far she would take this, but she had until noon, till she met with the prince.

"Are you following me?" Kane asked softly when the merchant was busy with another customer

alexs breath caught in her throat. "me?" she asked innocently as though she had no idea what was going on.
"Yes, you" Kane said, almost laughing at her innocent act. He smiled and added "I don't mind if you are, just wondering why."

alex smiled and dropped the act. "yes i am. i just wanted to meet the wizard." she said keeping her voice low but still smiling.
Kane nodded "Many do, it's an occupational hazard." he said and looked around, "I expect you have questions. Come along." He said and walked to a bench in a fairly unoccupied section to sit. He watched the market as he waited for her to join him
