I have 2cthat hatched from fairy eggs
Fairy/fart/rooster/oops egg.Ok, so I was going out to put my chickens away tonight and it was just barely bright enough to see and I was collecting eggs and when I was feeling around felt something super small, hard, and round, at first I could not believe my eyes and thought I was hallucinating or something but no! When I brought it inside I weighed it and it only weighed 13 grams!! (.5 ounces)
(I promise you that there was no photoshop or picture editing involved as I used a variety of different backgrounds, lighting, and comparisons)

I hope you all are as baffled as I am and hope you have a wonderful day!
And does anyone know is this truly is the world's smallest chicken egg?!
Its like a tiny piece of her reproductive system that was treated like an entire yolk. Sometimes it's even a tiny underdeveloped yolk.So it'll look something like this?![]()

That's what I did. Have a fart egg from one of my quails. It's the tiniest thing I have ever seen. Whoever laid the egg had a light day, lol. Some people blow them out and keep them, they're neat!
Any candling pics?I have 2 that hatched. A white silkie and a black View attachment 3022007View attachment 3022008mix..they are still really small at 8 weeks..but healthy. The white one is 2 weeks older
Poke a small hole on one end of the egg and a larger hole on the other end. Then just blow through the smaller hole until all the egg contents have been expelled. Oh and try not to lose your breathe! It might be a small egg, but some people find it extremely difficult. How do you blow them out??
