I want everyone to know what I do may be in a gray area, but NO ONE will get killed. I am the first one that says kill any predator theating your chickens or livestock. This was meant for four legged predators. You MUST follow the law a little more closely when dealing with two legged predators. While in town today I did but a few supplies needed for my week end project. Glad I can get my back hoe to most of the spots I plan on setting traps. The person who will be helping me is a friend, neighbor and local sheriff.
To my knowledge Weimar doesn't have a homeless problem per sa. We have a parole office in Auburn that provides parolees with a tent and sleeping bag. This is for those without any family or friends in the area. We also have some down on their luck miners, most of them would ask for some work for food.
A PAINT BALL GUN, what in the world would I do with one of those things. They are as useless as a boar hog with an extra set of teats. If I was to use one, I would probably have the intruder shoot back with a shotgun or rifle. Which is my gun of choice.
What good is a game camera going to do? Even if I was to get a facial photo of the person, who is going to look for him? They going to put the chicken thief on Americas Most Wanted. Anyway, this happens in the day time while we are at work.
Weimar is mostly a mountianness wooded area between Sacramento and Reno. Until recently you had to have at least 15 acres of land to built a house. We moved here for the peace and quiet. Up until about four years ago, we had it. Bears, mountian lion I can blame go the retired city folk. Not this predator.
No, I was not in the special forces. I was in the Navy. We put most of the special forces people though an added training after they got there to help keep the alive. When they got in trouble they sent us in to get them out.
