The Wyandotte Thread

Thank you, they've had fertility problems this year but a few unrelated hens will hopefully do the trick and I'll be keeping back a few of the roosters to replace there day for next year.
It's a gamble that may spoil the lacing slightly but will hopefully pay off in the second year.

I know no one has commented on this thread in 2 years lol but I'm new to this chicken thing and wanted to show my babies! and if you wanna help sex them for me, that'd be great! :)

It was started a long time ago...but people post. :)

I am SUPER BAD at guessing sex. Which is good, because that means that even though I think all 3 look male, there is a good chance that I am wrong. :D

I'm fine thanks :lau

Sorry couldn't resist :D

The rooster was bought in with eggs, the first 24 were clear!
The second 12 we only got him, so I think his father was probably the same, I'm hoping his totally unrelated girls will put a bit more lead in the pencils of these young Roosters I can now choose from.

But only next year will tell us :fl

:lau

Glad you mentioned the kinds of chicks at the end.... I kept looking at them...and looking...wondering why they looked so odd for BLR Wyandotte's

Gorgeous birds by the wsy. :D

Thanks,
The Blue, Gold and Buff all came from the BLW parents.
Only The Indian Game Cornish that were adopted.
