Well thank you all for your input as far as the dealer/strombergs. If my girls lay eggs and stay healthy for a few years that is all that I can ask at the moment. Oh yes and I am not allowed to have chickens where I live. hummm I have twelve hens so we will see. I have plans to move and add to my stock when I do but will not invest anymore of that hard to get stuff (MONEY) until I do. AND THE I WILL WANT VERY NICE BIRDS but none of them are inexpensive due to the feed and special environments of fences and netting.

Very true no matter what you are using them for breeding dual , eggs,meat, just to make your your very pretty. As long as you are happy that is all that matters.
