I'd rather have competition than none. It means nothing if you're showing a good bird against a bunch of poor quality ones or against few if any others of its color/type.

I can only scoot up for the day, so I'm not showing. I don't know if my pullets are ready, anyway. Hopefully I'll meet up with you, and I'm hoping to meet Dick Boulanger there, as well.
The Northeastern Poultry Congress holds it's annual Poultry Show each January, at the Mallory Complex of the Eastern States Exposition Center, in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

Oh dont worry Jim, I am positive that Lou Horton will have 20 or so Buff Bantam Wyandottes entered at Crossroads, and probably Andy from Ill. too....
I have been friends with Andy Anderson for over 30 years....but just met him on Saturday evening at the APA meeting. Wished Andy had brought some Buffs to Shawnee. I am looking forward to competing at Crossroads. Especially if I am competing against Lou and Andy!
it is very cool when you meet your email or phone friends in person. I got to meet a lady named Teni from Arkansas at the Shawnee show. We have been emailing for a couple years now.

I have newly acquired wyandottes (buff and golden-laced) and Delawares. Does anyone who has both breeds know which lay darker eggs. So far I've gotten very light creamy eggs with a nice sheen to them (almost glossy) so I was wondering which girls they belong to.
