I have posted pics of alot of them on this thread, you just have to go back thru and try and find them....haha. One of these days I will get around to making a website. We do offer hatching eggs on featherauction.com at times. We should have some to post on there in a month or so.

That's a nice blue. Is that a son of that black roo that you posted a few times?

Yes he is out of the nice Black roo and some blue hens, I crossed real Black Wyandottes on them (I didnt use a black that came from my blues..if that makes sense to you) in a effort to improve leg color and mostly to try and put some dark edged lacing on my blues. I had read in an old Wyandotte book to cross a line of pure Blacks onto the blues to get some darker color back into the blues for the lacing...I doubt that my Black roo even carries a lacing gene..but it did help the lacing on my blues and did give me much better leg color and size. The Blues were really small when I started with them, but crossing on that black roo really improved the size on them....

All of that was probably way more than you wanted to know about my blue cockerel...LOL

I think we have about 175 chicks out right now of all of our varieties. As for the SP, mine arent laying real great right now either but I do think we have hatched out about 10 or so so far.
That cold spell we had shut down all of the laying for a while. They are just now starting to recover. I was up there a week or so ago and saw some nice looking SP chicks though...
Our BLRs were the last pen we put together and honestly they are still filling out but we are starting to get some chicks from them now though.
Good to see you back on here Turbo, I am sure you are glad for everyone to be back to a state of wellness.
