Cold Buts in New Mexico My BLRW poulletsGot vents trimed yesterdayI also wormed They are 14 weeks old.They are starting to sing I my be wrong but I believe they will be laying befor the cockeral will be fertal.not shour how they mature.I started with 25 poulets and 5 cockerals after culling I have 7 p and 1 c left.that I concider whoth breeding. The BLR need a lot of work.

My BLRWs where 27 weeks before they started laying. And their eggs are small till about 9+ months old. At least mine where.
 
I'm getting a SLW chick on Sunday. She's hatchery quality, though. I think Wyandottes are the prettiest chickens ever. I'll post pics as soon as I get my chicks.
