We don't sell eggs anymore.....maybe a couple dozen a year when the incubator gets too full. I don't want to turn on the new incubator for the overflow until we have to.
I put the eggs on ebay to bring buyers to featherauction.....hehe.

43,000+ daily hits! You are going to put eBay out of the eggs business!

I just need to get my basement renovation done, so my DH can help complete our new coop and separate our colors, so we can raise our own

Right now the broody is on a mixed egg (the roo is a SLW, she is a BLR). See what happens until then

ahh, that's why you are my Jedi master.

The lady you referred to me for eggs came yesterday and bought all my good birds including that nice splash rooster. She's associated with arabian equine rescue so the blr gang will have the plush life. I'm trying to clean house to make room for the black wyandotte chicks coming in this year.

For Mrs. Turbo: (since you are not far from me)

What is the temperment of the bantam Wyandotte like? I know each chicken can be differrent, but I've heard they are calm and friendly, and I've also heard they are mean and peck a lot. That last comment came from a man at the Frankfort show last fall with black bantam Wyandottes he was helping his son with - I hope it wasn't Mr. Turbo!!!!!

I've posted elsewhere that I live in town, can't have roosters, have one bantam hen now (buff Brahma) and could have one or two more, tops. It is SO difficult to get someone to sell a one pullet. I got some nice responses from folks on another breed thread, but when I said I was interested in what they had, got no follow up.

I know you folks show.....do you ever bring birds with you to sell? I'm not looking for a show bird, just a sound girl for a pet, who will give me some eggs too.
