The yellow chicks may be carrying recessive wheaten.....and Blue Poultry has purchased BLRW chicks from me in the past..has been several years ago, and finally Greg Catt was not a reliable sort when it came to his BLRW and their origins.

The Blue/Splash/Black chart is based on hatching 100 chicks...so if you have hatched out 30 or whatever...you could get all blue..I have had birds that didnt produce what they were suppose to according genetics...alot depends on what is lurking under the hood.

So far 2 PIP eggs(BLRW) and peeping...can't wait to see what happens tomorrow!!! Keeping my fingers crossed-we tried a "dry" incubation this time. Humidity was alot better this round. Come on fuzzy-butts!
