I might have some sl chicks for sale later this spring depending how many I hatch. My birds came from frank reese and he got his sl from bob coulter. I got my birds about 2 months and they have been laying for a little over a month and a half.

We have had Buckbeak for 3 weeks now. I have collected 15 eggs from the Supremes. I hope and pray that I can get some SL peeps!!! Meta he is doing better when I carry a small rake and he can't see my feet??? I love that chicken anyway. I hold him, and pet him every night. He doesn't seem to "like" my feet as much then. Do you have any blue peeps left???

I have a question. We had a single chick hatch out of our eggs 3 weeks ago. It is our first pure partridge wyandotte. He/She is feathered out, it doesn not have anything exept teh barring your see on a pullet. DO the cockerals also do this?

Trying to figure out the sex of this little one, who is getting very spoiled being a singleton. We are hoping its a pullet. oh it does still have a white chest, of the fluffy baby chick, those feathers are not completly in.

Possibly. May also be a fairly brassy black phase of the Blue Laced Red variety.

Well, when we first got her with a few others, they just said a wyandotte but she doesn't look like all the others. Never knew there were so many varieties! lol

Krish - I don't know much about the barring, but cute chick! I would guess a pullet, but it's still pretty young

Mine are 10 weeks old now and it's VERY clear who is a rooster LOL They are getting so pretty!

Hmm which is which? LOL

This one I call Big Mama, she's clucking already! I think she might be a couple weeks older than the rest as she has always been bigger and feathered in before the rest.

Kris, you have a girl. She should get better pattern as she gets older. If it were a male, you would see much, much more black in the chest
