I've never seen a Brown Porcelain, but wow, I'm jealous.

I'm once again on the lookout for Partridge Wyandottes. I've been in touch with Paul's Poultry in Florida and don't think they will have chicks available this year. I've posted a query at the Wyandotte Poultry Forums and done some internet searches, but haven't found anything promising. I've also been looking at the hatching egg section here at BYC forums from time to time.

Until today, I hadn't looked at any of the big hatcheries.

Suggestions? Is anyone who has bought from a hatchery willing to share their thought?

If you have been seeking birds from noted breeders I don't think you will be happy settling for hatchery stock. It is very likely they will have very poor type and color that only resembles what folks are breeding for. For me looking is half the fun.

It is of course your call, but I would stick to my guns if I were you

the Brown Procelains, I imported from germany.
I have 4 pullets and 1 cock.
They are kinda rare even in England. Where i am.
