The Wyandotte Thread

He is 7 months. Is open centers and round lacewing bad? Oh and what is an open center. Sorry brand new to Wyandottes
If you plan on breeding Wyandottes, I would highly recommend you get the book I told you about. It is a wealth of information.

A round open center is desirable.

So you are saying he is a good breeder? and the judge is giving me a better cockeral for free in a few weeks

I have a silver laced and gold laced on hold but i have hearts wyandottes can be aggressive. is this true for breed? They are beautiful and I really want them. My coworker is telling me how horrible and mean her wyandottes were. Looking for a second opinion!!! I have two 8 month old hens, and 3 11 wk old EEs. I have 2 wyandottes, a buff orpington, and i RIR on hold. They will be about 7-8 wks old when i get them.
i've got 3 LF blrw and a pair of bantam blrw, all are very sweet and mellow.

None of my wyandottes are aggressive. Maybe your friend had hatchery Wyandottes... that might make a difference. I have never owned hatchery Wyandottes so I don't know for sure.
