Thank you both. Both Bantams are 6 years old now and still look good. I just wish I could find a good standard breeder of chocolates and whites.

Well I have to say this is the best thread I've been on yet! I did a kick jump through the thread and was amazed at all the Pics of the beautiful birds. I am also very impressed with the willingness to share. We've had SLW and GLW in the past, but the only two Wyandottes we have now are beautiful BLR Roo's they are not aggressive in any way. We are on the hunt for girls for these guys but pickens are slim here in WA. this time of year. I did pick up some Partridge Bantam Wyandotte eggs and have them in the Inc. right now hopefully we can up our Wy. numbers soon.

I hate it when your last "special" chicken passes. We had one little SL hen, we named "Gigi", one of the last we've actually named. She was always a runt but super friendly and was always there to see you. She hasn't looked great for 6+ months-she was 4yo but was starting to look tired. She just passed today....and on a good note we had a bantam just hatch for our current hatching...guess we'll name her Gigi!
