The Wyandotte Thread

Can anyone tell me where I can get Blue-laced Red Wyandottes that were from Jesse Paul' s old line? I think his are the prettiest I've seen, but I've heard he doesn't breed and sell them anymore. Anyone know who bought his birds?
Thanks for any info.

Thanks guys. I'm a bit bummed that she isn't great quality. I got her from a local breeder that answered a FB post of mine looking for a good quality slw. But she does have a beautiful personality

I don't have kids but what does 4H refer to?
4H (head heart hands Health) is a program for youth to do stuff alot of it is agriculturaly based such as livestock shows on a less competetive level most County fairs (around here anyway) are 4H fairs as far as the livestock goes

I'm so disappointed I have to cull one of my SL wyandotte pullets tomorrow....

. I came home and my parents said they found her about a week ago and she wasn't using her leg. They brought her inside and checked to see if it was broken. No broken bones. I just checked and she will let me man handle her and not be bothered at all. The leg has atrophied though and has become useless :(. Such a disappointment she was turning out so well.... Still don't even know what happened to cause her to stop using it...

Just because it's fun to share (since I don't think these are great quality roos, but know nothing about the breed standard), these are my 2 blue splash boys. I'm planning on keeping the darker one, and probably eating the lighter one. The darker one is more round and a little larger. They're around 6mo old here. Don't see many pictures of this color that I can find on here. I'm hoping he can help make pretty blue chicks whose combs I won't have to worry about so much in the winter.
