She has good lacing and color especially for a GLW (most are very poor quality). But as far as "type and shape" we can not see if she does with pictures of her squatting. Take some side shots of her standing naturally.

Standard White Wyandottes are recessive for the white gene. They must carry two copies to express white. Your cockerel looks to have barring going on. I like him if you wanted to work on Crele project.Okay had to look up what crele was. Definately not that. If he is not a cross between a Partridge rooster and a columbian, he may have a white wyandotte as his mother. Unfortunately, I have no idea how white works in chickens.
I just thought about another question for you, is your white wyandotte a bantam? If so, that is where your barring came from.Okay had to look up what crele was. Definately not that. If he is not a cross between a Partridge rooster and a columbian, he may have a white wyandotte as his mother. Unfortunately, I have no idea how white works in chickens.
Show us a close up of his neck and back feathers. He sure looks barred in the picture. You can send me some of those eggs, I would love to hatch that pattern.I have all Large Fowl. White wyandottes came from Mcmurray or Urch. I dont think he is barred, but still researching.
The picture is dark and small so it is hard to see the actual individual feathers. But he still looks like a crele pattern. Do you still have his parents? Was this the only chick that hatched with this pattern? Either way his color is really cool imo. I can't wait to see how he looks mature.
white quite often hides many different mutations, including barring. and yes, he's barred. technically not crele, as a crele is a barred bbr. (requires the white wing triangle, which he doesn't have).Okay had to look up what crele was. Definately not that. If he is not a cross between a Partridge rooster and a columbian, he may have a white wyandotte as his mother. Unfortunately, I have no idea how white works in chickens.
Quote: I love this bird..very much..let me know when you start breeding this one.
very very nice...you need to make a few more!!
wow, you have a huge project a head! Keep us updated at your progress. In with my Partridge rooster I had a silver penciled, 2 partridge, 2 columbian and a white. Accordingn to the chicken calculator golden columbian was the most obvious answer. If white is really recessive then god only knows what happened. I hadn't planned on sending him anywhere. If he was from a white hen, then breeding him back to them would give me some whites. He still fits in the program just a different spot than where I thought. I lost some colors over the winter and more than half of this hatch froze to death in a late storm. Since this is a hobby that is coming close to paying for itself I would like to keep going. If the other rooster is carrying the silver gene, then half of the hens come out silver from the next cross(to partridge) and I can start cleaning up color and so forth right?
