I want to try to get them pretty much as dark as the bantam partridge wyandottes coloration. I also want to make their tail wider like my silvers. I also have a back up partridge rooster that isn't as big as the cockerel but has good type and nice dark color. The only thing I don't like about him is his ridiculous comb. It looks like an inflated rose comb. That's mainly what I am doing at the moment with them. I am focusing more on the silver laced so I only have the quad at the moment.

Thanks! Where did you get your partridge Wyandottes? I'm on the hunt for the best quality I can find. Why reinvent the wheel if you can save time and money as they say? I'm also in search of a source for high quality buffs. I've been told there are good buffs somewhere in California. At any rate, I'll be following along and seeing how your birds develop. I'll keep you in the back of my head as a possible source.

I got the cockerel and dark necked female from foley when they were babies. The two other hens and my "back up" rooster I technically rescued. Their pervious owner took horrible care of them and it took me months to get them to what you see now. Their blood lines are Paul's poultry but he no longer breeds birds. Foley is also not selling at this time unless he has extra birds. He usually posts them for people to bid on. I can't remember the site though. I think someone on here should know someone with nice buffs. I personally I don't know any.
