The Wyandotte Thread

I have about 70 Cochin bantams in 7 varieties and show 5 of those varieties. I decided I would not get another variety or breed that would show in the same class. After looking at the Ohio Nationals and seeing NO Gold Laced Bantams I decided to try to find some decent GLW bantams. This is what I found.
Good for you! Looks like you were successful in finding some nice ones.

Blue: OMG OMG Guys! This brown thing just came out of my butt!
White: Gir' I know you di'n't just say a brown thing came outchur butt...
GLW: say WHAAAAAT?? Oh no you di'n't! Gir' I'mma bout to be all up in that...

(I know... I know.... you will have to excuse me, it gets very weird inside my brain. Especially after coffee...)

Is it weird my 5 year old hens stil lay? They still produce some very good eggs.
I would say it is awesome! That is a quality that should be bred for imo. If I had a group laying at that age I would use them for breeding.

I set 20 eggs in the incubator this morning! 14 are test eggs and 6 are shipped BLRW.

Would that be bantams laying at 5 months? My LF Cochin didn't start laying until 8 months. The Wyandottes started laying at 8 months also.
