hi all!! i tried to create a want ad in the hatching eggs, but it wouldnt let me... so I am going to try here. I hope you all dont mind!

I am looking for around 24 eggs. I dont want hatchery birds, just breeder birds. These are for myself and my dad to split so that is why the large quanity. We had ordered eggs off of someone on Ebay who said they could fill the order in the next 2 weeks and then they backed out to just one dozen. I hatched 6 a couple weeks ago, out of 14, so we know realistically that a dozen wont get us many chicks to split.

If you would be able to have that many in 2 or 3 weeks, I would appreciate a response. Let me know how many and how much, where they would be coming from and i will pass the information to him (he doesnt use computers!!)

Thank you in advance!

Here are my 9 week old GLW's. Only have 6. 2 hens and 4 roos. One with a SC. So will be eating or selling that one. Unfortunately because he is feathering faster than the other roos. The other roos are taking forever to feather. Just now getting there back feathers.

I took a some pics to see how you all think they are doing. Any comments on what you see good or bad is a good thing. From what I can see there getting there rounded bodies pretty good, leg stance is fairly wide. Chests are wide to me also. Nice yellow legs. Color not sure of. But looks good to me. But these are my first. So would like to hear what you all think.

I take a lot of pics to cover everything.

Hello Dracoe19, I really like this partridge color pattern. Can you give a little critique of your birds here, and maybe what you are trying to improve? I've been told getting the gold out of the hackle of the females is really tough. Definitely a worth while group.

Sure! Right now I am trying to bring their size up a bit and darken the color, especially on the two hens. The hens aren't abnormally small or anything but I prefer them a bit bigger. One of the hens has the nice dark neck but as you can see on the other two they are more golden. The male I have them with is actually just a cockerel and will get even bigger which I am excited about. He also has a nice dark color that should hopefully correct the two hens coloration. I want to try to get them pretty much as dark as the bantam partridge wyandottes coloration. I also want to make their tail wider like my silvers. I also have a back up partridge rooster that isn't as big as the cockerel but has good type and nice dark color. The only thing I don't like about him is his ridiculous comb. It looks like an inflated rose comb. That's mainly what I am doing at the moment with them. I am focusing more on the silver laced so I only have the quad at the moment.
