I've been looking at pics on Kijiji & have come to the conclusion that if the pictures are too beautiful, they're probably someone elses. Otherwise, if they are beautiful, you can be sure the birds won't be cheap. If they are, suspect SOMETHING is off about the bird(s) - whether looks, temperament, or health..I thought I had found some dottes... Craigslist guy had a quad for sale. Pics attached were beautiful so I went to get them. They were nothing like the pics and weren't even dottes! They were blue cochins and one looked like an Australorp! So sad![]()
A good question to ask the seller is: "Can you take a picture of the birds today for me?" - this way you've put them on the spot. They either have to look all over the net to find a similar picture (which you can reverse-search & date) or you get a picture of what they really look like.
