The Wyandotte Thread

If I could talk my wife into a nice, quiet Wyandotte roo.......
that might change the pecking order a little and Tina could raise a litter or two.

lol just fyi, it's a 'clutch' not a litter. once they're grown they become flock (but to the dog they're 'pack' and to be protected not hunted).

my male chicken is grabbing the girls on the back of the head how do you stop this i am thinking he may brake her neck should i find another male

He's trying to breed them, they just have to get it figured out.

Selective hearing around here.. It's like the cars going by on the road, when you go somewhere else with out that noise you can't sleep. lol You get use to the noise. At present we have over 60+ cockerels out there diggin on their new voice...
