The Wyandotte Thread

Mrs. Turbo :

Hey Katy......missed seeing you around.... how is the bantam SLW going? We decided they are not our thing.

Hi Rebecca.....I saw your picture on the expecting thread....I now have a face to put with the name.

Your daughter looks so much like you.

My bantams are doing well......I didn't think I'd enjoy them like I do. I have 8 growing out right now that are about big enough I'm going to add them to the adult pen. WHen I get back from vacation I'm going to set some more eggs. They won't ever replace my LF ones tho....I've got a nice bunch of pullets growing out from them too....altho probably the nicest one hurt her leg and is limping pretty badly.

I had a family picture on our website before....thought you saw that one. If I could ever get you to a poultry show we could drag you to the "after party"..... everyone gets together for dinner and drinks. Some pretty nice people to meet at the shows.

Don't really know many people that show the GLW.

ETA: ahh yes, expecting and grouchy to go with it as my DH and kids say. That is a fake smile.....LOL

Do any of you have any BLRW eggs for sale? I hatched out eight about a month ago and all have been snake breakfast but two. I would like to hatch some more before winter. We finally got the snake yesterday. It had a belly full of an Ameracauna chick. Hopefully, we killed the only one and there are no more snakes.
Thanks for your help!

Could you please give me feedback on these two BLRW roosters. I know they are slow to mature and these two are just short of 15 wks old, but I'm sure that the experienced breeders have an eye for potential even at this young age.
Thanks!
