You should see them up close and personal! We have lots of pretty Buff color in Wyandotte Bantams, Orpingtons, large fowl and Bantams, Chanteclers.

The Buff ducks are a bit duller color, but still lovely. Buff has always been my favorite color. I may add Buff Wyandotte large fowl next year!

No, their body type is not correct for a wyandotte.....at least the cockeral isn't and I can't really tell much from the picture of the pullet.

How about their mothers shape? Is she anything close to correct?

She's not horrible, but she should be much plumper/rounder. It's hard enough getting correct body type when you're breeding wyandotte to wyandotte. When you add some other breeds into the mix it's going to be next to impossible to get a wyandotte shape.

Love the lemon yellow in the rooster. He is gorgeous.

I have Buff Cochins and Buff Orpingtons and the color has always been a fave of mine as well. I really do love the Wyandottes and Buffs may be in my future!!
