It was easy to find the Foleys at Shawnee. We seen a small trailer with featherauction.com on the rear and SLW and lots of loud quacking. Had to be them!

I love the trailer!!!..... that loud quacking used to be in the van and going through the McDonalds drive-through was embarrassing. The ducks would start quacking as soon as we tried to place our order….not to mention the smell

Ok, got mine fixed. Now you'll know why I don't show much! 3 new varieties with the goal of several more in the works! But now I really have a reason to get that new barn built this spring! Making plans now!

Is that hen laying already? If so, she must have liked the new weather! It was -7 this morning here! I don't know where this weather came from. It's absolutely unbearable! 30+ inches of snow and another 4 for tonight! It was a bad time to get 15 more chickens!

How many shows is a lot???? We do about 8-10 a year....sometimes more, sometimes less.
We put lights on the birds and the temps jumped up to 40* today.

Jerry and I built our barn 2 summers ago. It was not fun and it took all summer, I almost killed him in the process.....

Do you get that rainbow every day too? Cuz I think I'm going to buy some property in KY... Mine won't look quite like that when I'm done, but it'll still hold plenty of chickens....

That was the first show I've been to since Central IN, before that I think it was Eastern IA in 05

Mrs. Turbo,
Do you have any blue and black chicks hatching in January? My spunky gang are all hatchery stock and I really want to get the flock to breed standard.

I would love to add the other colors too, but want to get my blues to better quality. I have a cuople of girls that look decent and a couple of decent boys. They are still pretty young though and nerd more time to fill out.
Been getting worried because the majority have clam tails.
They will be 10 weeks this Wednesday, is there a chance that their tails can still fill out to the correct tepee shape?

Nice to put a face to the person Ive been emailing the last year, thanks for posting a picture of your family. I havent ever talked to you any but have spoken with your husband on many occassions. I was trying to get to the Shawnee show but a State Semi-Final football game took precedence...

I thought I might post some pictures of my breeding pens I setup after the Shawnee Show....remember I am a horrible picture taker and my camera sucks, Mrs. Turbo needs to buy me a new one for christmas....please.
