My BLRW are breeding like crazy, hopefully we will have some eggs soon. How many people trim their wyandottes for breeding??

Yes...but that is an ancient secret passed on from Master Wyandotte Breeder to apprentice over the last century...

Just kidding...but my point is that if you make them they will not reproduce true...so you have to keep making the same cross over and over again to produce them.​

So if I when through all the truble and got 2 batches of them and mated a violet han and a violet roo I wouldn't get any violet chicks?

I get to pull 10 more standard partridge chicks from the hatcher tomorrow.....if the hatches continue I might be able to offer some Partridge chicks in a couple months once we have enough to grow out and build our flock. They are coming along and I am very excited.
