Are you talking about light browns and dark browns? I'm sure that they are different.

Light Brown Leghorns and Dark Brown Leghorns are both duckwing. the difference between them is that dark brown have the addition of Mohogany which is the same gene that makes Rhode Island Reds dark.

The Silkies I have a more vocal and make a coo purring sound when happy. The Wyandottes I have will coo but I have never heard them coo purr; not even for their most favorite treats (scratch or live crickets).

Hey, guys! Soarin' sold me a wonderful Brinsea &&&&&&&&&&&&& some of her Blue Wyandottes for later this spring!!!!

Wow great hatch! Glad you like it. I have been getting good hatches with my new bator too. I now have 13+ dozen in there now for the local breeder swap/sale this spring.
Just let me know when you want the Blue Wyandotte eggs. cangratulations on getting the SLW's!

awe I now have egg envy. Kelly you need to post pics of the chickies so I can drool over them.

Tractors without cabs AND metal seats! Suck the life right outa you movin snow!! And thats with long underwear and coveralls!

Heat wave...and up to the 50's next week. Time to re-clean the run!

With all the talk of hatchings...wish we had a broody.
