I was about to take one for the team and buy them, but they're not listed anymore.

thanks Colby, but the lady finally emailed me. I am not sure why people don't read the auctions before bidding.

Wouldn't be a big deal to keep the extras, but we have runners and call ducks hatching too and we keep all the bantams and the project pens....we do get a few stragglers though. Our families already think we are nuts when they come over and see all the young birds in the field.....good thing there is a lock on our brooder room.

It's not like I don't already have over 70 chicks in the basement right now anyways.

Can't wait to pick up some of your babies this weekend!

everyone wants SLWs this year. I don't know of anyone else shipping them out.

I dont think I would buy from anyone else!! Ive got plenty of different chicks hatching, brooding, and growing out anyway but there is always next year... Oh and the white runner eggs should be hatching in the next couple days also

Well I have 42 little BLRWs that hatched out of my new GQF hatcher! Wow I never had this good of a hatch before! Over 90%! Probably a good thing since the day I bought the bators, 3 yes 3 of my BLRWs went broody. I couldn't incubate all the eggs I was getting before now I have way to much incubator!

Ive got them coming out my ears but thats a good thing. My homemade cabinet incubator is doing the trick this year. Im about to shut it down though. Only thing Im still keeping eggs for are my bantam black wyandottes crossed on the white bantams to get the barreds. Ive got a few hatched already but gonna hatch as many of them as I can.

Hi Guys! I just got some Wyandotte eggs from the May egg swap. I'm really excited as it's a new breed for me but I've always thought they were just gorgeous

I have some color questions for you guys... I FINALLY have the BBS genetics down thanks to my Marans but I'm back at square one with these guys! Here's the eggs that I have:

1. silver laced wyndotte roo over columbian wyndotte hens
2. blrw roo over blue, black and blue splash hens - Edited: Ok scratch this question. I did a little more searching and I think I understand how the BLRW will interact w/ BBS. Not sure on the SLW and Columbian though.

What color possibilities do I have with these? I have no idea how the SL and Columbian mix and not sure how to factor in the blrw over the BBS. Any ideas on what the babies will be?

She also sent me a mix for one of the extras... Only half Wyandotte but I'll just throw it on here anyway to see if anyone knows what it will make
