I want to publicly thank Rebecca, (Mrs. Turbo).

Recently, I lost my flock of bantam Partridge Wyandottes to a Great Horned Owl and I was absolutely devastated. I had gotten my birds from the Foleys and they were my pride & joy. Rebecca has helped me rebuild my flock and I can't thank her enough! Her generosity, thoughtfulness, and friendship means the world to me and as each of these little chicks were hatching, I sat crying my eyes out, knowing that I was again going to have my beautiful birds.

Rebecca, thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. These babies mean so much to me. Your thoughtfulness and generosity has touched my heart. I owe you a debt of gratitude!

She was hatched from eggs that were bought, grown, and sold to me by a local breeder of a variety of breeds. He didn't care the coloring and patterns of her and the other hen and roo i got from him. He said she was more of the black laced but I keep getting confused between the gold laced and black laced. So i was looking for some more clarification cuz pictures on google just don't do it for me.

Blue laced reds carry a mahogany gene that give their feathers that great dark red color.
Gold laced wyandottes have a gold gene.

Here's the breeding chart for blue laced reds. It is how the andalusian blue poultry gene works...

Splash x splash = 100% splash chicks
Black x black = 100% black
Splash x black = 100% blue
Blue x black = 50% blue, 50% black
Blue x splash = 50% blue, 50% splash
Blue x blue = 50% blue, 25% black, 25% splash

Hope this helps! and hello to all the new lovers of wyandottes on this thread

Yes, she does have a little bit of double lacing going on near the rear. And about the legs..my camera's flash made their legs look extremely white, although they are not white.
