These are my 3 1/2 month old SLW Wyandote Hens. Not show quality, but I was pleased for hatchery bred!

Why thank you! I'm taking them to show :) They aren't completely up to standard, because their legs aren't yellow.

I'm excited to see yours grow up :)
 

i absolutely love the coloring and pattern on my GLW. started laying at 24 weeks about two weeks ago. She has become much more friendly as she matures.
 
I believe mine started laying around 24 weeks, which, i believe is average. my speckled sussex started at about 20 weeks
 
Breeder Wyandottes will not lay till 8 or 9 months is my understanding. They are slow to mature, but that also gives them the good lacing. Hatchery Wyandottes probably lay earlier since they breed more for layers.
