The Wyandotte Thread

Here is what I got from Foley yesterday.

My SLW pullet, you can already tell she is going to be a heart stopper...

Here is the SLW cockeral.. He doesnt look so great right now, but it will deffinately get better, and he looks weird the way he is on the roost. he isnt rumpless LOL.. He told me he doesnt like selling his SLW young, because they can turn out to be something he could use.. He told me he sees no faults so far though, I think he kept showing me stuff to see if I would buy something else, and leave the SLW. LOL

Here is his first Generation Chocolate Wyandottes, LF.

They are young to, and I can see they have perfect type.. they are stunning, and even better in sunlight...I love them more and more every time I look at them...
This is the Silver Pencilled Bantams I got too. the pullets are looking stunning, but the cockeral looks so funny right now LOL

OMNOMNOM...Another view of the pullet as she gorges herself in bugs and grass

Now lets wait

on Donna to flaunt her FLOCK she bought of BLRW...She got his BEST BLRW rooster!!

He is NOT going to sell chicks anymore. Just started birds down the road. I think I got the last chicks he is going to sell. They hatched in a bucked in all the heat we had LOL.
I picked up 4 hens and his BEST BLRW roo... I got a trio of spw bantams too. I will get pics today.

If you got the last then I must have gotten the next to last.

No, she got chicks last night from him, they was only week old. and it was just by accident he had them in a bucket, a heat wave came in and hatched them!

That is a juvinille!! Lol thats no chick!
Gorgous though! Look how thick that lacing is!

Hi
this may be a little off topic-looking- for Silver Penciled Wyandottes-full sized. Does anyone know of
any breeders or farms that may have any? Thanks

:yiipchick Yes, I know. Mine are from one of his mid-May hatches that are growing out very nicely. I know I have a ways to go with them, but at this point I'm pretty excited to have them.

How many did you get?

I am the same way, Going to continue breeding and preserving the breed. same with BLRW,Chocolate, pencilled bantams, Barred bantams, and maybe some partridge later.
His partridge has taken a HUGE leap. they are stunning.
my rooster was beautiful and all but he showed me one of his breeding roosters....Made me want more.

I see you are from Tenn. Will you be shipping eggs say the first of Feb. The closesr I could get good eggs the better. Where is Portland Tenn. say in relation to Franklin NC Gloria Jean PS are you npip ?

I am not NPIP.
Im on the border of KY. And depends on the eggs. Since I only have one pair of SLW and Chocolates atm, I will try to hatch as many as I can. I will be selling Culls later. and I have BLRW that should be laying around the same time, I will be hatching alot of them, but I could sell eggs.

Busy week...got our county fair to get ready for, kids are showing 5 dots, and we started up the bator again! Soon to have more fuzzy butts! Plus, we're working on building 6 more breeding coops/runs-the prototype is almost done!
