the cost for shipping depends on the size and weight of the box, of course. i use USPS.com, shipping next day/2nd day, input the approx size and weight of the shipping box (http://poultry2.tripod.com/id3.html or http://www.hm-e.net/A_chickens.htm). i add about 5 pounds to the estmated weight of the bird to cover for the weight of the box/fruit/shavings/etc.he's beautiful! I'm looking for a show quality breeder and I'm wondering how much it costs to ship pullets because I want to make sure I get all hens. I already have a roo and hen I bought from a show breeder at a show, and I would like more eggs! Even though I am not going to get into showing right now (I want to learn how to take care of them, etc. I don't want to purchase hens from a hatchery if they won't even have the correct combs or markings for the breed). I love how docile mine are and if shipping them after they have been sexed isn't too expensive that's fantastic!
any show breeders that do that please message me!!!!
I cruised past this picture and, for a second, thought "why is there a picture of a huge Silkie in this thread?"Their tails are just so round and fluffy!![]()
"Bunny tails" are not desired.
