Eggs have been obtained. No ome here replied so I looked it up. It say 36.5 C and 50 - 55 humidity.

Hawk got got in my coop today. Killed 1 bird. Guess who. Of course my favorite. But seriously, guess. We are going in on a last effort to hatch her (refrigerated) eggs. My mind is blank. What temperature in Celsius do I set my incubator at? What humidity?

Don’t tell me it is little big shot!

Your days were numbered and your life cut short. In the days before now you have made me laugh everytime I looked at you. No, you were not show quality but I loved you all the same. Do not tell Little Big but you were my favorite chicken. You had gourgeous lacing and a bubbly personality. Some may describe you as livestock. I describe you as a pet. Thank you for the eggs you gave us before your time was up. I can not imagine how scary the experience would have been. But now you have crossed the rainbow bridge and have to worry about hawks no longer. Have fun with the chicks up there. Maybe that was your desire, to hatch chicks. Feel free to take Peek-a-boo, Smoky, and Uno. You will always be loved and missed on earth. I love you my darling sweet Nug Nug.

I will document the eggs process though I suspect none of them will hatch. I can not help but be hopeful though. I will do nightly candling. Quickly. In and out. On days 3, 7, 10, 14, and 18 I will look a bit closer if any get that far. I did not candle tonight except for one egg. Last time I tried to hatch refriderated eggs they had funky air cells. So I candled egg 1 to look at it air cell. I will be accepting name suggestions. We can name the eggs if we want to. Then if they hatch that is their name. The name may be subject to change based on personality or gender. If one hatches and it is the only one it shall be name Nugget Jr. Or Nug Nug. So here we go.

Day 0:
Temp: 37.5 C
Humidity: 50% to 55%

Egg 1: Candled to make sure air cell looked well. Put on first Turner.

Egg 2: Did not candle. Put on second Turner.

Egg 3: Did not candle. Put on third Turner.

Egg 4: Did not candle. Put on fourth Turner. This egg was washed before I put it in the fridge since I did not plan on incubating.

Humidity: It has been pretty high. 54% - 56%.

Egg 1: Candled. Good air cell.

Egg 2: Candled. Good air cell

Egg 3: Candled. The air cell was a bit small and lopsided. Nothing major though.

Egg 4: Candled. Good air cell.
