Well we were expecting death and they did give us an extra. We got them to about 7 weeks and lost all but three within days.

Oh, they'll lay plenty! Generally they start in the spring after they hatch instead of going with daylight like chickens do. Mine should start this spring. I've got BR as you might have known from my YouTube videos. Here's a link for the rest of ya. Next year I might get another breed. We'll see!

So, yeah. From what I've read they lay like crazy from early spring to early fall.

c ool i'm ok but i was just outside with my chickens getting rained on. i help my dad fix the fence a little bit but got bored and focused on the chickens ( a huge storm went through and blew it down) i usually don't get bored helping him but i felt like i was just sitting there. My chickens love Turkey one more thing, i found 3 different kinds of moss on my neighbor's side of the fence
