bahahaha, my mother in law doesnt even let her student have their cell phones on, I cant imagine what she would do if one of them came to class with a chicken! (probably tell a story about me and how I would do something like that.

Also, there are a lot of nice people on here, if you cant show your GLW anymore because of damages, you may be able to find someone on here to help you out in finding a new SQ.

The meeting went very well. They paid up front and were very compliant with paying the future vet bills that would be incurred. Hopefully this will stop the little dog from "escaping" and have them become more aware of the laws in the area. I will be calling the dog warden to let them know that they did come over to talk to me and we did settle and what all was agreed upon. Thank you all for your help and letting me sorta vent about the situation.

dkvart1, the dog warden as well as myself has informed them that if the dog is seen on the property again, engaging in such behavior, it will be shot. I even went as far to let them know that there won't be much left to their JRT/Chihuahua mix when I use a 12 gauge on it. I am not an animal killer at all, but when something is killing my animals for sport, I have to do what is necessary to protect my birds.

sweeterdeeter42, thank you for the laughs. I have been in class with sick chicks, healthy chicks that I just picked up before class because I knew they would be gone by the time I got there after class...now I will be there with a hen who will more than likely sleep in my lap. She is such a sweetheart and they have never had a reason to fear dogs which is why I think she was such an easy catch.

If I can't get her healed and back up to par for the show circuit, I will look into getting another girl. RIght now, I'm going to try and get her back up to her gorgeous self

Wish me and Barbie luck!
