I just heard them say that Canadia won the gold medal for break dancing. Also, they would have probably won the gold for twerking had they had an actual competition for it since their woman pole vaulter felt the need to display her skill in it and no one else did. I know you are very metricly proud @MACCanadianCoop Congrats!

The Summer Olympics, sadly, yes. Today is the closing ceremonies.

I think the Paralympics will be starting in 17 days. I have never had any interest in it before, but I may this year. It starts around the same time college football does, though. So, we will see.

Divisive? You must have never watched the Olympics at all. It is definitely not divisive. If anything, it is exactly opposite.

And, you do understand that there are World competitions every year in some sports, and certainly in track and field, which is the most interesting for me.

But, if you have never been an athlete, or had any interest in athletics, then, it would not interest you. I think there are a lot of people that have never competed at any level and still have interest, much like I see football fans supporting teams and they don’t even understand the game. But, if you have ever been an athlete at some sort of level, then, you probably get it.

It is coming back to the US in 2028. Maybe we can lobby for egg hatching event. Personally, I rather have that as an event than break dancing. Or, as it is called now, Breaking. They just said that Breaking will not be an event in 2028.

I admit, though, after watching a couple of minutes of Breaking, they are very athletic to do that stuff.
