There is a time and place for shenanigans. (edit: THIS is that time and place)

Storms aren't common this time of year? You have a rainy season, right?
No, not really. We have monsoon officially Mid june-late Sep. October- mid Dec. is typically dry on the desert as the jet shifts north. Even in monsoon, 4 forecast wet days in a row is rare. It's taking the combined moisture from the remains of 2 hurricanes (octave and priscilla) to cause this.

Not complaining, we always need rain. Hopefully, it will kick off thunderstorms for me to point my camera at and make clicky-clicky noises. :p

I just saw Ryan Hall Ya'll's video about this. Hopefully you won't get as much as they are saying!

So... We got a dog. In true chicken math tradition.

She's a red dapple. Her patter is very light.

Baron Gizmo Von Moon Schiner has a nice ring to it.
Amusingly, I told my wife we should call him Moony. She said no. He IS Baron Gizmo Von Springleton, though. And Princess Maple Von Springleton.
