Hi so last night I went to close the coop door and count the chickens it was dark so all I had was a flash light and so I seen a couple of my chickens on the ground when they should have been roosting so I point the flash light up to count the chickens and there it was a snake head poking out behind the chickens on the roost sniffing my chickens it was only a rat snake but still it was a pretty good sized snake what should I do to keep the snakes out of my coop I have a broody with a chick and don't want her to get eaten
but we gave him away im hoping no other snakes will try and get in the coop im so happy it was only a rat snake and could not hurt anyone and im so happy that my broodys chick did not get eaten
