Wow! what a beautiful creature. I hope you find your hen. Our chickens may have predators that we can't control, but I still believe they should be respected. I am glad you didn't try to kill the owl.

THAT IS AWESOME! What a beautiful creature! Lucky you to get to see it so close! Glad everything came out well! I don't think you can kill owls...... I think they are a protected species. Thanks for sharing the pic, I really enjoyed showing it to my kids.
