I was feeling really down about losing a duckling yesterday and another one today. After an emotional good-bye to the second duckling, Beaker came out of her nest box and came over to me. She made me laugh out loud!

    We call them feather boogers.

She recently went broody and is fluffing up her nest with down feathers.

    Sorry about the ducklings. [IMG]

Has Beaker been helping you with the house work? Maybe a little dusting?[IMG]
