Thermocubes - for watering during winter

I just got my thermocube and heated dog bowl. This will be my first experience using them but i am thrilled about the idea of NOT having to deal with frozen water all winter

Hi All.can You Use A Thermcube Pluged Into A Surge Protector?.my One Outlet Is Outside The Coop.it Has However, A Steel Cover And One Up One Down Plug Outlet.the Thermocube Won't Fit Any Ideas? Thanks

We hooked our heat lamp up to the thermocube, the waterbowl has it's own built in thermostat. Our cube range was 35-45 degrees. We felt that was really too warm, the heat lamp was on all the time, ended up just turning it off/on manually. IHMO Chickens don't need it that warm in the winter if your coop is tight and ventilated.

If you mean can you plug in a cord with a surge protector, put the surge protector into the coop, and plug the thermocube into the surge protector, then plug the water bowl into the thermocube, then, yes, you can do that.
