- The friendship between The Salula (my weird old silkie/d'uccle mix) and Minky the silkie.
- The crazy rates at which I get green eggs with only two green egg layers! I love those pretty green eggs, and I love my manx rumpie mixes.
- Watching the chickens go berserk when they find a potato bug.
- Watching the three big ducks (rouens and swedish) go through grass that's taller than they are.
- When the guinea fowl knock on the screened glass door.
- All the poultry happily free-ranging on a beautiful spring day.
