I knew after the possum attack that some of the girls had a hidden nest or two somewhere in the woods. Well I followed
one and found this about 4’ up in the briars/tree.

The main culprit is a golden sexlink named Goldie. There was at least one other chicken using it. Somewhere out there should be a nest with blue and green eggs. There are an Ameracauna and a green egger who also think I should brush up on my Easter Egg hunting.

No I am sure they made it. They get up on the little shelves and flat spots on the briars all of the time but this is the first nest I have found.
